Winkle hearth rigs are utilized in ironmaking operations to remove and install the roof, shell and lower portion of a blast or electric arc furnace.

Winkle mill-duty rigs come equipped with an upper beam that can be placed in a fixed or rotating position for ease-of-alignment and handling.

All Winkle lifting rigs are engineered and manufactured in full compliance with ASME B30.20, BTH-1 safety and design standards.
