Electrical Technician - Panel Assembly

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical panel layout and wiring using schematics and blueprints
  • Install circuit breakers, terminal blocks, relays, and other electrical components
  • Cut, strip, label, and terminate wiring accurately
  • Perform basic electrical testing to verify proper installation and operation
  • Assist with diagnosing wiring or component issues under guidance
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with standards
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read and follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience using hand tools and basic electrical test equipment
  • Ability to identify color-coded wiring
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred Experience

  • Previous electrical panel assembly or machine wiring experience
  • Commercial or industrial manufacturing experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around industrial equipment

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders or scaffolding
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
