As a pioneer in the remanufacture of lifting equipment used in the steel industry, Winkle had a front-row view of the need for improved durability, reliability and performance. The search for ways to design and build better lifting magnets paved the way to serve a large variety of customer needs across multiple industries.

Our focus today is on helping customers improve the end-to-end productivity of their key processes through specialized lifting devices, crane products, material handling equipment, aftermarket support and engineering services. We continue to invest strongly in the people and technologies required to support continuous improvement in our own engineering and manufacturing processes. Meanwhile, our field service and executive teams work closely with customers in key industry sectors to identify new ways we can apply our knowledge and experience. Our customers rely on our wide range of capabilities to handle their needs for equipment management and maintenance services.

In 2004, Winkle Industries made Alliance, Ohio, the home of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing and engineering facility. Our 75,000 sq. ft. headquarters is the working home of 100 employees including the industry's top professional engineers, skilled technicians and service staff.
